6th Central European Relativity Seminar

January 28 - 30, 2016

The 6th Central European Relativity Seminar will be held in Prague between January 28 - 30, 2016.

This is the sixth seminar of a series initiated at the ESI (Vienna) January 27 - 29, 2011, which has been followed by a seminar in Cracow February 2 - 4, 2012, one in Golm February 7 - 9, 2013, one at ESI on February 27-March 1, 2014, and one in Budapest February 26-28, 2015.

This series of seminars is designed to provide a forum for younger researchers to present their work, and to expand their research horizons. The main geographical basin of attraction is Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Germany.

The main part of the scientific program consists of seminars by young researchers selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. The speakers will be chosen mainly amongst graduate students and post-docs. We anticipate about 24 talks of 20 minutes each. A few longer talks might replace some of the shorter ones if scientifically or pedagogically desirable.

The seminar will take place in the very center of Prague ( http://mapy.cz/s/j4dR , https://goo.gl/f3nU4c ).  The building belongs to the Charles University so there will be wireless internet access available ( valid eduroam account is needed ).

The nearest metro station is "Malostranská" on the green line A. There change to tram line number 12, 20,22 and go 1 stop to "Malostranské náměstí" where the seminar will take place ( http://mapy.cz/s/j4dR , https://mapy.cz/s/qhtf , this entrance: https://mapy.cz/s/qhtn ).

You can buy tickets valid for 30 minutes (CZK 24), 90 minutes (CZK 32), 24 hours (CZK 110) and 72 hours (CZK 310); within this period you can get on/off or change lines as you wish.
